The People’s Revival

Here are five hard distinctions between MAGA Christianity and every legitimate revival or Christian movement in recorded history. This is why we must stand against false prophets like Mario Murillo, and their antichrist religion.

1. True Christianity Serves the Powerless — MAGA Worships Power

Every authentic move of God — from the early church in Rome to the revivals of Wesley, Finney, and the Black church — started among the poor, the outcast, and the forgotten.

MAGA Christianity, by contrast, bows to political authority. It doesn’t confront Pharaoh; it campaigns for him. It blesses the sword instead of washing feet. It seeks dominion, not deliverance.

Authentic faith empowers the voiceless. MAGA faith enthrones the loudest.

2. The Gospel of Love Became a Gospel of Fear

Jesus said, “Perfect love casts out fear.”

MAGA preachers say, “Perfect fear casts out liberals.”

Every historic revival was fueled by compassion — the desire to see hearts healed and communities renewed. MAGA Christianity operates on rage marketing. It gins up fear of immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, and anyone “different,” because outrage is profitable.

It’s not revival — it’s emotional manipulation in a flag-wrapped costume.

3. The Church Once Separated Itself from Empire — MAGA Married It

From the desert fathers to the Anabaptists to the abolitionists, the faithful have always resisted empire. They followed Christ’s kingdom — not Caesar’s.

MAGA Christianity reverses that. It builds altars to political kings, calls for “Christian nationalism,” and tries to legislate holiness by force. It is Constantine reborn in a red hat — empire baptized in false prophecy.

They confuse dominion with discipleship.

4. Real Revival Produces Repentance — MAGA Produces Excuses

Legitimate movements of God are marked by humility: “We have sinned. We need mercy.”

MAGA Christianity preaches grievance: “They have sinned. We need vengeance.”

There’s no confession, only projection. No repentance, only deflection.

Where true faith says, “Search me, O God,” MAGA says, “Search Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

The fruit gives it away — bitterness, not blessing.

5. The Cross Is a Symbol of Sacrifice — They Turned It Into a Weapon

The first Christians died rather than kill.

MAGA Christianity kills reputations, communities, and sometimes bodies — all while calling it “spiritual warfare.”

When the cross becomes a club, it stops being Christian.

Stand-Out Truth

MAGA Christianity isn’t the continuation of revival — it’s the counterfeit of it.

It mimics the form of faith while denying its power.

It markets resentment as righteousness.

Call to Action

If you follow Christ, draw the line:

Refuse to trade mercy for militarism, or love for loyalty to an idol in a suit.

Because the Kingdom of God doesn’t come through coups, flags, or rallies.

It comes through compassion, justice, and truth that can’t be bought.
