Every person who is called a “minister of the gospel” in this nation — this is your line in the sand.
You have watched the rise of fascism in your own backyard.
You have seen immigrant families torn apart, asylum seekers pepper-balled, protestors beaten, the poor crushed beneath corporate greed — and you said nothing.
You watched politicians drape the cross in a flag, weaponize scripture against the marginalized, and bless the machinery of empire — and you clapped.
You blessed billionaires while ignoring the beggars.
You preached “order” while they built cages.
You spoke of “law” while justice lay bleeding in the streets.
You stood silent while the gospel was crucified again in public.
This is not political — this is moral.
This is kingdom versus empire.
And you have chosen comfort over conviction, patriotism over prophecy, cowardice over cross-bearing.
If you have been silent, speak now.
If you have sided with this worldly regime, repent publicly.
If you have avoided offense to preserve your brand, remember the German church of the 1930s — those who traded the living Christ for the swastika, those who stood aside while neighbors were carted away.
You cannot serve both God and nationalism.
You cannot bless both Caesar and Christ.
The kingdom of God is not red, not blue, not corporate, not for sale.
The prophets are rising again, and this time we are not asking for your permission.
We are calling you to repentance.
To step down from the pulpits you built with blood money and stand shoulder to shoulder with the oppressed.
To choose the cross over comfort, the people over profit, the kingdom over empire.
Because when the next generation asks who spoke truth in the days of American fascism — who had the courage to defy the idols of power and privilege — your silence will testify against you.
So make your choice, preacher.
Heaven is listening.
Repent. Speak. Stand.
