Some of y’all don’t even realize this yet, so let me say it plain:
The reason the darkness keeps swinging at you is because your light won’t shut up.
You love people when the world says abandon them.
You help when the system says hoard.
You forgive when bitterness would be easier.
You stand with the wounded when everyone else walks away.
And every time you do that —
every time you bring mercy into a cruel place —
the darkness feels it.
That’s why it pushes back.
That’s why you feel resistance.
That’s why life gets louder when your heart gets kinder.
It’s not because you’re weak.
It’s because you’re dangerous.
Goodness is rebellion now.
Compassion is countercultural.
Mercy is an act of war against the powers that feed on despair.
So don’t you dare dim down.
Don’t you dare hide your light.
The more the dark threatens, the more we love.
That’s how the Kingdom breaks through.
That’s how revival starts in the margins.
That’s how ordinary people become the ones hell fears.
Shine on.
We’ve got work to do.
